Disclosure: Ravensburger gifted us these games through Tryazon in exchange for my honest review. All thoughts are my own.
There are certain rhythms in our home that always bring us back together — Sunday morning waffles, Christmas movie nights, impromptu driveway dance parties, and game nights with friends who feel like family. We grow, we change, the kids get older… but game night has always been one of those steady little anchors for us.
So when I found out we’d been chosen to host a Ravensburger Game Night through Tryazon, it felt like such a natural fit. We’ve loved Ravensburger games for years, long before this opportunity ever came our way, so it wasn’t hard to say yes.
A night with friends, snacks, laughter, and a table full of Disney-themed games? It felt like the easiest “yes” in the world.
Last weekend, we finally gathered everyone together — a mix of new friends, old friends, kids of different ages, and the kind of cozy chaos that makes a night feel alive. I set out bowls of popcorn, poured drinks, and pulled out the three games Ravensburger sent us:
- Villainous: Unstoppable!
- Stitch: Level 8 Card Game
- Disney Lotti Karotti
And honestly? The night was such a sweet reminder of why game nights matter. It wasn’t about winning or losing. It was the giggles, the friendly competition, the teamwork, the little moments of “wait—did you see that?” and the nostalgia of playing something Disney-themed with a bunch of grown adults who clearly still enjoy the magic as much as the kids do.
Let’s break down each game, because each one ended up being perfect for a different age range and energy level around the table.
Villainous: Unstoppable!
Best for: Adults + older kids who love strategy
Vibe: Gorgeous, immersive, detail-rich
This was the game that got the adults pulled in fast. When you first open it, you’ll notice the stunning artwork and beautiful pieces. The instruction booklet is… a lot. I’m not going to lie. But after a few practice rounds, it all clicks.
Each player becomes a Disney villain racing to complete their evil plan first — and the decision-making, plotting, and strategy is chef’s kiss. If you're a Disney fanatic or you love games that make you think a few steps ahead, this one is such a win.
Stitch: Level 8 Card Game
Best for: Ages 8+
Vibe: Easy to learn, fast-paced, surprisingly competitive
This game was the crowd-pleaser of the night. Think Rummy + Phase 10 + Stitch’s chaotic energy. You’re trying to complete eight (or ten!) levels before everyone else, and the gameplay moves fast enough that kids stay engaged without needing a long attention span.
I loved how it subtly teaches pattern recognition, strategy, patience, and how to pivot when the game shifts. Adults loved it. Kids loved it. And it didn’t take up the whole night — which means you can play multiple rounds or rotate to another game.
Disney Lotti Karotti
Best for: Younger kids (but honestly fun for everyone)
Vibe: Bright, silly, adorable
This was the one the littles gravitated toward immediately — and for good reason. It’s simple, cute, and full of anticipation. Everyone races to the star, hoping their turn will make it spin and drop their opponents off the mountain.
Lily adored this one (and was so proud to “capture” it in photos for me), and even the older kids kept jumping in for “just one more round.”
It’s the perfect starter game: colorful, easy to understand, and full of giggles.
The Magic of Gathering Around a Table
What I loved most about our Ravensburger game night wasn’t even the games themselves — it was watching everyone connect.
Kids teaching each other rules. Grown-ups letting their competitive side show. New friends blending into old friendships. Everybody finding “their” game.
There’s something so grounding about gathering around a table with people you love, especially in the busy seasons of life. Game nights remind us to slow down, laugh, be present, and create memories that don’t require screens or schedules or perfection.
Just people. Just play.
Just togetherness.
Should You Gift These Games?
In a word? Yes.
Ravensburger creates high-quality, thoughtfully designed games that feel magical without being overly complicated. If you have Disney lovers in your life (big or small), these three games are such easy, memorable gifts — all found at Target.
My personal take:
- Villainous is a standout for adults and strategy lovers.
- Stitch Level 8 is perfect for family game nights with mixed ages.
- Lotti Karotti is ideal for younger kids or siblings who want to join the fun.
Final Thoughts
Hosting this game night reminded me why I love Ravensburger so much: their games spark connection.
The laughter.
The friendly competitiveness.
The shared moments.
The memories that sneak up on you in-between card shuffles and dice rolls.
Huge thank you to Ravensburger for gifting us these games and giving us a reason to gather with friends on a random weekend that turned into something special.
Until the next game night.
✨
